Hi,

I am experiencing a problem where blank pages are being returned.
(Blank, as in a valid HTML document, but with no body content)

This happens on both the Approval Assistant, and when deleting a page.
The page is successfully deleted, but the page returned is completely
blank.
The approval assistant is just plain blank.

I've seen articles before that suggest this is an authentication
problem?

Thanks in advance,
Alastair

Hello,
I am having a similar problem, only the page is blank AND the HTML is blank.
If I look at the revision history, it shows the editor deleted everything.
This editor has been using MCMS for over a year with no problem, but has a
new machine with IE 5.5. I am asking their PC Tech to update IE, just to see
if that makes a difference. I will reply back if I get a resultion, and I
have subscribed to be notified to replies on this post.

Hello Stefan,
No <form> tag found on the page. Once more clarificaton though. I am able
to edit this page fine, only this one editor is having problems. I have asked
her to try from another machine to see if I can definately tie it to the
machine, and not rights.

Hi,

Further to my original post, my problem is not with the postings being
blank, but the actual MCMS application pages are blank/empty.

When I delete a posting, it successfully deletes it but returns a blank
html page instead of returning back to the current channel and/or
confirming the deletion.

Similarly, when i click to load the Approval Assistant, it just pops up
a new window with a blank/empty HTML document.

This happens on both my local dev environment (WinXP/IIS5) and the
production environment (Win2003/IIS6), both using the latest version of
MCMS.

Hi,

that is not a known issue.
Either consider reinstalling MCMS or to open a support case for this.

Cheers,
Stefan

Stefan,
Upgrading this PC to IE 6x corrected her error. Thanks for your help with
this.

Afhole: Sorry for stepping on your post! When I read your first one, it
sounded like the issue I was having.

Stefan,
Thanks for your response

Puzzling... The production environment is a clean install as of only a
few weeks ago and is experiencing identical problems to my development
env. I'm pretty sure the files in question are installed fresh rather
than being copied from my dev env.

Could this possibly be duff config in IIS?

Looks like i'll be getting the credit card out again then

Nicole: No worries.. Glad you got your problem sorted at least!

Hi,

as indicated: that is not a known issue and I haven't heard something like
this for the standard dialogs.
I'm also not aware of any IIS setting that could cause this.

Maybe you have a bad proxy server in your request chain?

Cheers,
Stefan
