404 error during export
|
|
|
| Hi,
I am getting the following error when I try to crete a backup by exporting
the sdo:
Error: 0
Description: The remote server returned an error: (404) Not Found.
Severity: 5
Source: System
Debug info: N/A
Extra info: N/A
Client Source: CExProgress::ProcessPackage
Recommended Action: N/A
I've been doing backups regularly and this is the first time I've come
across this error. Any ideas???

| As an addendum to my question; I've already performed the following checks on
the server (running win 2003):
Checked for /nr/rdonlyres configuration
Checked for mime types being added in IIS
Checked for ASP.NET being allowed in web services extension
In all the above three cases, everything checks out fine. I've been doing
the export on a regular basis and this is the first time I've come across
this error.
Thanks,
Hadi

| Stefan,
I'd gone through the checks mentioned in the article mentioned below.
Everything checks out fine and yet I was coming across the error mentioned.
Any pointers?
Hadi

| Hi Hadi,
if these things do not help, then it is not a known issue and you should
open a support case for this.
Cheers,
Stefan

| Stefan,
I did a little poking around and figured this one out: I checked the disk
cache size via SCA. It was set to 50MB. Increased the size and everything
started working fine again!
Am surprised that this didnt make it into the FAQ.
