Default page stopped working

| Hello all!
An interesting and serious problem occured today: the default page of main
channel stopped being displayed.
No changes to MSMC configuration were made (i.e. the page, called
"RecroHome" is defined as default page by the name in the channel
properties, the page exists and is available if its URL is entered).
More precise: our web site http://www.recro.hr now displays an "Under
Construction" error, just as it's about the "normal" web site with no
default page specified. But if http://www.recro.hr/recrohome is entered, the
page is shown correctly. I repeat, the page "RecroHome" is explicitly
specified as default page for the channel www.recro.hr. All other URLs
within the site work fine but the site is inaccessible by the DNS name
www.recro.hr.
There are 2 more web sites on the same CMS machine and they work fine.
What could have happened?

| Before you try, I have to make a correction: the web works fine from the
outside (it is situated in a domain and published via an ISA server).
But the domain users experience problems as described.

You wouldn't believe it - the problem turned out to be in the very complex
caching options on ISA publishing rules. CMS was not to blame and was
configured properly all the time.
I'm sorry for posting the problem in the wrong place!
