Hi

I had a issue with adding teamplate file .. here it is

I had MCMS 2002 Installed on Deafault Web Site (Port 80) and i am using
Windows 2003 Server, now i created another site "MCMS Test" ar port 5000 ,
then i got to
SCA and enable this site for read-Write MCMS .

now i create a MCMS Web Project in Vs.net 2003 , and i give loaction
http://localhost:5000/cmsapp , the vs.net created the site and i am able to
create a
new MCMS 2002 Teamplate file "Home.aspx" . Every thing goes fine .

Now I go to MCMS Teampte Explorer in VS.net , create a new teamplate gallery
and add a new teamplate called "TestTeamplate" , now i want to attach the
Home.aspx as this its Teamplate File , for this i goto "TestTemplate"
properties
i click ... infornt of Teamplate File to Browse for "Home.aspx" , but as the
browse dialouge only showing WebSites under "LocalHost" not localhost:5000
i can able to find the file Home.aspx , infact the tree view on left only
shows
localhost nothing else .

Please help me with this issue!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Razi,

the MCMS developer tools for MCMS are officially only supported on the
Default website configured with port 80. The reason for this is that the
recommended developer platform for MCMS is Windows XP.

It is possible to let reconfigure the MCMS developer tools to work against a
different website if this website has a unique port. To achieve this follow
the steps outlined in the following article:

http://download.microsoft.com/downl...6a/MCMS+2002+-+(complete)+FAQ.htm#AF0A8BBF-1488-450F-ADD1-E555312ADEC9

Cheers,
Stefan
