Problem installing SP1A

| Hi. When we are trying to install SP1A, we are getting an error saying that
we need to install ASP.NET; however, this is already installed. In the setup
log, is says "MCMS_SETUP: [PreInstallHook]Need ASP.NET (required by MCMS
Server)". Several lines before that, it shows that .Net prerequisite was
met, as wel as IIS, ASP, and Server Side Includes. We googled and I found an
entry that delt with making sure the 1.0 and 1.1 J# redist was installed, so
we did that, but still no luck. We also tried a aspnet_regiis -ua and -i.
Do you have any ideas on what we can do to get this working? Please help.

| Hi Jason,
this indicates that ASP.NET has not been properly installed.
You need to install it using Control Panel - Add Remove Programs - Windows
Components.
Just to enable it through IIS MMC will not be sufficient.
