Getting WSS list into MCMS
|
|
| Sathish Kumar K 2005-03-22, 7:47 am |
| Hi,
I have created an EVENTS list in my WSS site. Can I bring the EVENTS into my
MCMS site using Sharepoint Connector or through something else.
Thanks and Regards,
Sathish Kumar K

| Hi Satish,
do you mean you would like to add the web part to the MCMS site?
MCMS does not support webparts.
I'm not sure if SharePoint has an API to query the information of the event
list to render it on a ASP.NET control - you might want to check this on a
SharePoint related newsgroup.
Cheers,
Stefan.

| Thanks for the reply Stefan.
I didn't mean to add the webparts directly. I do try to query the Sharepoint
LIST. I would try the SHAREPOINT group also.
Something similar to this.
http://msdn.microsoft.com/office/de...ookCalendar.asp
I tried this. But was not successful in the attempt. Have to try again.
I would need to add to OUTLOOK also. The customer would add only in one
place, i.e Sharepoint list. It should list in the public CMS site and in
outlook.

Sathish Kumar K

| Hi Satish,
all these questions are not MCMS related.
Please post to the appropriate newsgroups.
Cheers,
Stefan.
