The font size can be changed in the tool bar when a page
is in edit mode.
But this dropdown shows values like 8,10,12,14,18,24,36

i want the user to be able to select values like 9,11,13.

can this be done?

Regards,
Mary

Hi Mary,

the answers is no.
These values are not real. They will be replaced with the font size=... and
the values here are fixed and cannot be modified.
An alternative would be to use the free-of-charge Telerik Control
(www.telerik.com/mcms) as it is more flexible.

Cheers,
Stefan.

Hi Mary,

The fonts are specified in <drive>:\Program Files\Microsoft Content
Management
Server\Server\IIS_CMS\WebAuthor\Client\P
laceholderControlSupport\ActiveXEdit
ing.vbs

Be careful before editing this file. I recommend you to save a copy of this
file before doing any modifications to this file.

Regards,
Chester.

Hi Stefan,

Can't we change <drive>:\Program Files\Microsoft Content
Management
Server\Server\IIS_CMS\WebAuthor\Client\P
laceholderControlSupport\ActiveXEdit
ing.vbs to make the size different? I had the feeling that it had a place
where we could modify the size.

Thanks,
Chester.

Hi Chester,

no this is not possible.
The limitation is html: <font size="3">.
The values in the drop down are not real but only virtual values to reflect
similar sizes as in Word.

Cheers,
Stefan.

I agree.

It can only change the virtual value. Not the actual one. If you only want
to change the virtal values, then you can do that.

Thanks,
Chester.
