Hi Stephen,

We had alot of problems in deploying the CMS content from content
production server to the production server Programmatically .
Now we have decided to use the same/shared CMS database for the
content production and production server. The page will be published
immediately on
the live site as soon as it gets approved on the production server. We
have also tested this deployment approach and it is working fine.
However, I still want you to comments on this.

If anyone ever tried this approach please comment.

Regards,
Ahmed

Hi Ahmed,

this approach works fine under the following cirumstances:

- you don't use moderators
- you don't modify posting properties while the posting is in a different
state than Published.

If you do one of the steps above the posting will vanish from the live site.

Cheers,
Stefan.
