Hi,

In our CMS website, we are maintaing a channel called "Archive", and had
made a custom page to select the postings and move to the channel folder.

But when we use the MoveTo function, it moves the page and makes it in
"Approval State" instead of "Published"...we want to just move the posting
with the same state and not going back to approval state. Because we are
using Sharepoint to search the "Archive" channel and the pages won't come if
it goes back to Approval State instead of published.

Please help...

With regards,
Gurmeet Singh

Hi Gurmeet,

You will need to write into your code to approve the posting.

This is because the posting will require approval when it is moved.

Regards

Hi Gurmeet,

ensure that no editor or moderator groups are assigned on the Archive
channel.
Then no approval is required.

Cheers,
Stefan

Hi Stefan,

We don't have any editor or moderator groups are assigned on the Archive
channel.
Still it goes into Approval Mode.

Please help...

With regards,

Hi Gurmeet,

what is the state of the posting after the move operation?
"Waiting for Moderator Approval" or "Waiting for Editor Approval"?

Cheers,
Stefan
