We use a mcms site for our external website. Whenever someone goes to the
address for the site, it goes to the main DNS/cache server for the
organization (I have no idea where that is). The first page of the site is a
static HTML page with links that go to some CMS content. The problem is when
they click on one of those CMS links, nothing happens. It looks like the
page is loading but it just sits there. If we use the IP address to go to
the server, it works fine. Is there anything I need to change in MCMS to
work in this environment?

Hi Calvin,

please check if the name resolves to the correct ip address.
Also verify if there is a host header name mapping enabled in IIS to see if
the name really resolves to the correct web site.

If this does not help I would recommend to open a support case as it will
require to analyze some network monitor traces to see whats going on.

Cheers,
Stefan
