Author Cannot load particular pdf resources

Hello -- when I try to load resources on a particular site
I am getting a page not found returned after identifying
the resource. That is -- from resource manager, I
select "add new" then in the next dialogue box I browse to
the local resource (a pdf document)and when I press OK --
I get a page not found in the window. I sense there is an
issue with security since I am able to load other
resources (including other pdfs) but I have tried opening
up the security without any imapce. I am an admin in cms
but have also tried adding my id as a resource manager for
this collection as well.

I would appreciate any thoughts you might have on this.

Thank you
Jim

Hi Jim,

what happens if you rename the specific document? Does it work?
Just to check if it is the file type or the security.

Cheers,
Stefan.

I am having the same problem, and it seems to be a file size issue. If the
file being uploaded is less than 2 MB it works, anything higher than that, it
doesn't. I have edited the metabase file to increase the upload file size on
my Windows Server 2003 server to 50 MB. Site Manager lets me add the bigger
files to the resource gallery. But this problem with the page not found
occurs both on my Production server and on my development machine. My
production server is running Windows Server 2003 and my production
workstation is Windows 2000. I am using the Web Authoring Enhancement v2.0
from IT Hit, I don't know if that has something to do with it.

Are you using the IT HIT Web Authoring enhancement?

Hi,

what is the configured upload size in your web.config?

Cheers,
Stefan
