Hi all
Can I assign more than one owner for a posting/channel? How can I go about
accomplishing this?

Thanks.

Hi Victor,

every item can only have one owner.
Please explain what you are trying to achieve to check if there is a
different solution.

Cheers,
Stefan

Hi Stefan,
In the old CMS system, every content item had one owner(the one who is
creating) and one other backup owner who can make changes. Just wanted to
know if it is possible to do that. Do let me know if there is something else
that can be done.

Hi Victor,

in MCMS every author can modify the item if it is not currently locked by a
different user.
If the item is locked then only this locking owner or an editor or higher
can modify the item.
As soon as the item gets approved the lock is removed and any other author
can modify the item.

Cheers,
Stefan
