Author Standard Edition License Issue

I have a box with the CMS 2002 Standard Edition License which should support
15 users for authoring and have unlimited subscribers. The below link
details this:
http://www.microsoft.com/cmserver/d...on/editions.asp

However as I am attempting to add users to my groups, I am now receiving an
error message stating "The operation could not be completed because it would
put the server in violation of the Satndard Edition License restrictions."

I removed a user from a subscriber group and then attempted to readd them
and received the same message.

Any ideas?

TIA

hi Mei -
Turns out that it was a bug in the Standard Edition License where if I was
adding a user to a subscriber role, it was checking to see how many users I
had in my non-subscriber roles to ensure I wasn't going over 15 so when I had
15 users in my non-subscriber roles, it thought that I was trying to add
another user to a non-subscriber role. Anyways, the article for this hotfix
is: http://support.microsoft.com/defaul...kb;en-us;890334

Thanks!
