customizing CMS edit toolbar

| Hi,
I am new to MCMS, and the problem is related to customizing CMS edit
toolbar in internet explorer. When we set the Formatting property of
MCMS Place Holder controls to "FullFormatting" and try to edit any
posting, browser (IE) shows toolbar with new formatting buttons and
drop downs for Styles, font name and font size. The Style list shows
items like Normal, Formatted, Address, Heading1,... Is there any way to
add new styles to this list as we can add new fonts into the underlying
Operating System and it gets populated in the Fonts list?
Has anyone faced such a situation before. If yes please drop a word.
This is very urgent.
Thanks
Rajendra

| Hi Rasethi,
As Chester and Mei explained to me in my Posting last week "Changing Style
Names in Formatting Toolbar", this is not really possible, however the
Telerik Editor might help (http://www.telerik.com/mcms).
For the moment, until I get a chance to implement the Telerik, I am using
the existing style names but applying a style sheet to them to alter their
appearance in presentation view. For example -- the Address style applies the
tag <ADDRESS> to the text. Simply use the address tag to apply any properties
that you normally would in the style sheet.
Hope this helps...

| The RadEditor control is really helpful. I have used it from version 1.5.
The current version is in 2.1.2.
Telerik constantly updates the same. The lite version is free for use in
MCMS. http://www.mcmscontrols.com

| Yeah, definitely try the free or paid MCMS Telerik control. It's very easy
to modify the toolbar using XML.
