CMS Internal Link Problem
|
|
|
|
| Stefan [MSFT] 2005-06-28, 5:52 pm |
| Hi Masse,
is the link going to a different site? Means is the link going to a site
that is access with a different host name?
If yes, then this will not work.
This is by design of MCMS. The algorithm used in MCMS to determine if a link
is external or internal does only work if the link points to a posting or
channel in the same site. Cross-Site-Links are not supported in the current
version.
Cheers,
Stefan

| Hi Stefan
The link is going to the same site with the same host name.
Our problem is that only some of users have this problem. It works fine for
most of the users. Can it be an access issue?

Masse

| Hi Masse,
it sounds like a permission problem.
There are a couple of hotfixes out to correct similar problems.
You should open a support case with Microsoft to identify which of the
different issues you are running in to send you the correct hotfix.
Cheers,
Stefan
