First off, we will soon be moving to CMS 2002 later this year; now that we
have majority of our enterprise over to CMS 2001 (3 years total time).
Therefore, all questions realate to MSCMS 2001 with all updates applied.

We've discovered some issues which we just can't seem to find any answers.

1. When a channel has NO moderators, and someone adds a posting. Sometimes
it will list the posting as "Published," but when viewed in "Live Site" CMS
returns a 404 error.

2. When building a ROP file, we have had some postings that included 108
PDF's totaling WELL over 100 MB in resource files. This will cause the
creation of the ROP file to fail. WHY is this limitation here, and how do we
get around this?

Reason for number 2 issue:

I work for a government IT team, and we provide the CMS solution, and help
assist divisions to move to CMS, but we don't, and cannot really, control the
divisions structure and/or content. Therefore, we have had senarios like that
occur quite often.

Hi Steve,

1) this should not happen. Are you sure that the start date is not in the
future?

2) you should open a support case for this.

Cheers,
Stefan

1) We have checked, rechecked, and checked again and no they were/are not
future dated. Intresting to know if you reboot the server, the only solution
that does work, the post will be listed as "published" and display properly
on the site.

2) Well, it's too late for that, instead we deployed the site in 20 pieces,
and manually recreated the page with the links to 108 PDFs. Took us almost 2
weeks to come to that solution.

3) Just poped up: We are now getting this error on an import:
Error ID: 0
Source File:
Source Method: IAEBlobManager
Source Line: 0
Description: Unable to read from file
F:\PROGRA~1\MICROS~1\Server\Temp\ROP1F04
\.
Recommended Action:

Somedays I feel like I am talking to Helpdesk.

Hi Steve,

please download filemon from www.sysinternals.com
Check what kind of problems you get in this directory. Might be an access
denied or a different problem.

Cheers,
Stefan
