Is there anyway of extending the Hyperlinks Dialog to:

1. Place the postings in alphabetical order and
2. Default to the current channel you are in

Is this possible?

Cheers,
Kele.

Hi Kele,

about
1) this can be achieved using this extension:
http://www.gotdotnet.com/Community/...58-69CC4A25EF99

2) I don't have a solution for this.

Cheers,
Stefan

Stefan,

Downloaded the extension and made the modifications as outlined in your
doco. However there is no change to the Hyperlink Dialog file and nothing
that corresponds in the web.config changes.

Does this tool update the Hyperlink dialog to sort postings as well?

Cheers,
Kele.

Hi Kele,

I will have to double check. I thought that I addressed this but I might
have missed that.

Cheers,
Stefan

Hi Kele,

I have just double checked and found that the hyperlink dialog box IS sorted
when my console extension is being used.
Actually it will use the "ChannelTreeSortEnabled" and
"ChannelTreeSortAscending" settings in the web.config.

Cheers,
Stefan

Hi Stefan,

Yep sorry the sort is on Page Name and not Display Name.

Cheers,
Kele.

Hi Kele,

You need to sort by DisplayName? No problem!
I will send you an updated version in a parallel email.

Cheers,
Stefan
