A template file we have has a locking owner of the old webmaster. Now that he
is gone, I don't see a way to remove the lock so that I can edit the template
properties. How can I do this?

Hello Dan,

I believe you can do that using Site Manager.
You need to go in Template Gallery Tab, and then, right click the locked
template. You'll see the "Kill Lick" command in the popup menu.

Hi Dan,

if you have access to the machine of this developer then you can take
ownership when you are an administrator.
If the machine is no longer available then this is just not possible with
the build in methods of MCMS.
In this situation please send me a mail to webmaster@stefan-gossner.de and I
will send you a step-by-step description how to release the lock manually.

Cheers,
Stefan
