Author CMS 2001 - Export Question

We have a site that contains a rather extensive resource gallery, and is
causing an error that you might be able to answer.

The site structure is like this:

Root
-Agency
--Division A
---Documents
----SubFolder
--Division B
---Stuff
--Division C

If I build a ROP file for All of Agency MINUS the Documents folder/channel,
we get a ROP file that works, and is 546,923 KB.

If I build a ROP file for JUST the SubFolder under Documents (all pages and
postings), we get a ROP file that works, and is 526,158 KB.

If I try to Build a ROP file for Agency, and EXCLUDE all the postings and
pages in Documents only. Which SHOULD be the same as combining the two
previous ROP files plus adding a EMPTY folder and channel for Documents. This
fails, but Site Exporter states the EXPORT was successful.

Why is this?

Hi Steve,

in CMS 2002 there was a bug that did not allow export of items that result
in more than 700 MB.
The same bug might be in CMS 2001.

Cheers,
Stefan
