| Also, I get the following error when I attempt to add an administrator
to the MCMS. "Unable to authenticate user. Please make sure the
account and password are valid" This may be due to the fact that the
server is not a member of any domain and the database server is.
Finally, once the DCA has run completely, I get one more message
stating "Unable to start web service. Please start it manually."

| Hi Nunya,
I would suggest to uninstall MCMS and test if IIS works correct then.
Then reinstall MCMS. Just to check if the problem is related to IIS or MCMS.
Cheers,
Stefan

| Hi Nunya,
I am getting the same error, how do you solve it. I have tried to set
"Network access: sharing and security model for local accounts" to "Classic -
local users authenticate as themselves". I am running on WinXP SP2.
