Author editing sdo-xml

I have a fairly large folder (or gallery) structure in the resource
gallery. I need to create the same eight subfolders below every folder
in the structure. I would love to be able to program this, but this
cannot be done using the documented api. I was thinking about a
workaround:
Is it possible to export all resources, edit the compressed xml-files
of the sdo and import it again. This way I would assume that it would
be impossible to create any inconsitensy in the databases or mess up
anything else, since the import is done using site-manager.
I haven't taken a closer look at the xml-files yet. But do you have any
comments?

/Nikolaj

Hi Nikolaj,

Modifying the contents of an SDO file would be outside support boundaries
(ie. not allowed ).

Sorry.

Hi Nikolaj,

that is correct.
The whole application based on a database modified with such methods would
no longer be in a supported state.
The only way to go back to an supported state would be to throw away the
database and all SDO files created from such a database.

Cheers,
Stefan
