Hi Stefan,

We are development a Portal with CMS 2002 and SPS and its connector. In
the last implementation weeks, we noticed moderators dont participate
in the workflow process when my postings are updated.

We implement some code in Posting_Submitting Event (modify Posting
Start Date value) in order to require Moderator Approval and send
emails to original posting's author (because when we do this in
Posting_Approving, Editors become Posting's Author).

Our client is not satisfied with this solution, because our postings
are dissapear in production.

I have seen other postings, and i have read about a document:
MCMS_Integration_Techniques.doc, but this one explains about extends
the workflow using a third party "workflow engine". We really dont have
this option, could you give us an advice?

Thanks,

Alfredo Barrientos

Hi Stefan,

Is there any way to use Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 like Workflow
Engine?

Thanks,

It should be released anyday now (if not already)... check out Skelta
Express!!! Free, robust and multi-level workflow engine that's very
customizeable OOTB. Did I mention free? The Express edition provides, for
free, 25 concurrent workflows (if you need more, you'll need to purchase a
license... but then you'd be talking more of an enterprise product and you'd
be warranted to purchase the product).

Hi Alfredo,

check out Skelta's workflow extension (free for up to 25 parallel workflows)
http://blogs.technet.com/stefan_gos.../09/406120.aspx

If this is not satisfying you can use the one from K2 or Teamplate:
www.k2workflow.com
www.teamplate.com

Cheers,
Stefan

Hi Alfred,

I always recommend K2 (www.k2workflow.net) as an enteprise wide workflow
engine.

But if you are looking for something free (with throughput limitations)
check out http://www.skelta.com/products/skelta-cms/overview.aspx

Regards
