Strange Characters When Linked to From MS Word
|
|
|
| When we have a word document that links to our site, the © and other similar
characters don't display correctly. They have strange characters instead.
If I refresh the page, it goes back to the correct character.
Any ideas on this one? Thanks in advance.

| Hi TJ,
sounds as if the browser does not send the correct encoding when the link in
word is being clicked.
Then the content is not correctly encoded.
Might be a bug in IE or in Word.
You should open a support case for this against Internet Explorer.
Cheers,
Stefan
