Author Strange Characters When Linked to From MS Word

When we have a word document that links to our site, the © and other similar
characters don't display correctly. They have strange characters instead.
If I refresh the page, it goes back to the correct character.

Any ideas on this one? Thanks in advance.

Hi TJ,

sounds as if the browser does not send the correct encoding when the link in
word is being clicked.
Then the content is not correctly encoded.

Might be a bug in IE or in Word.
You should open a support case for this against Internet Explorer.

Cheers,
Stefan
