Creating a Date Custom Placeholder
|
|
| John McDonald 2005-09-23, 5:52 pm |
| I want to create a custom placeholder that displays a date in a label during
presentation and as a calendar control during authoring
When authoring there are messages relating to view state and additionally
when tryng to move ahead or back months a pop-up warns I am moving away from
the page. It seems linked to the postback event.
This same point was raised here earlier in
http://www.microsoft.com/communitie...8ff6-d4ba-405e-
b429-e21b2c0db76c&dglist=&ptlist=&exp=&sloc=en-us
but the answer wasn't helpful
Is there a more expansive response on this issue available please?
Thanks

| Hi John,
such a control already exists:

Feel free to taylor it to your needs.
Cheers,
Stefan

| Thanks Stefan - I can look at this and from that work out why your's worked
and mine failed
I am still receiving the warning about attempting navigate away from the
page. I have failed to spot this as a browser setting but that doesn't meant
it isn't one - do you have a workaround for this?

Thanks
