multiple sites, same MCMS installation

| Hi,
Using MCMS 2002 sp2 with .NET 2 framework we are hosting multiple sites that
need to operate independently. The problem we are having is that in the web
author console and associated popups we always see templates / channels etc
from both sites and not just the one that the current user has permissions
for. We have defined separate editor roles and allowed access only to the
channels we want them to see but still the entire channel heirarchy is
appearing. Is there some way I can set it up so that each site operates
entirely independantly (at least through the web interface) and we only see
channels that the user has permissions for?
Thanks,
Jon

| Hi Jon,
sounds as if guest account is enabled.
All users can see the items they have rights to.
And guest enabled items are visible to everyone - so they are shown.
Cheers,
Stefan

| Hi Stefan,
Thanks for the quick reply. I was thinking along similar lines and had
already set guest access off:

(screenshot of SCA). Do I also need to change any settings in IIS, or have I
misunderstood?
Thanks again,
Jon.

| Hi Jon,
if guest account is disable only the users that have at least subscriber
rights in the galleries will be able to see the galleries.
Cheers,
Stefan
