CMS and VS.NET 2005 BETA SP1

I have experienced some issues with VS.NET 2005 that I don't care to get into
but are repeatable. I found today in surfing the net, that there is a BETA
Service Pack that has been out since August 4th.

Has anyone tested this and is it OK to use now with CMS?

Also, does anyone know why the holdup in releasing this as SP1?
