| I am using SiteManager to export my site. Its got 30 channels, 5 postings, 3
templates and 5 Resource images. My point is the site is not that big.
Here is the error returned during the export.
Any ideas on what to do?
Thanks
Tom

| Stefan:
I'm not sure if this helps or not. But I looked at your reference link and
ran this in the browser.
http://localhost/mcms/sitedeployment/cmsxmlstub.aspx
Here are the results.
System.ArgumentNullException: Value cannot be null. Parameter name: String
at System.Number.StringToNumber(String str, NumberStyles options,
NumberBuffer& number, NumberFormatInfo info, Boolean parseDecimal) at
System.Number.ParseInt32(String s, NumberStyles style, NumberFormatInfo info)
at System.Xml.XmlConvert.ToInt32(String s) at
Microsoft.ContentManagement.SiteDeployment.cmsxmlstub.ParseRequestTimeout(String
strTag) at
Microsoft.ContentManagement.SiteDeployment.cmsxmlstub.Page_Load(Object
sender, EventArgs e)
Is there anything else I can try.

| Stefan:
OK I had an idea. I removed a custom section handler for putting Session in
the database. I then reset IIS and tried running the export again from Site
Manager. This time, it got further. I saw an initializing phase then it
looked like it was complete but then gave this err at the end.
Error: 0
Description: The remote server returned an error: (403) Forbidden.
Severity: 5
Source: System
Debug info: N/A
Extra info: N/A
Client Source: CExProgress::ProcessPackage
Recommended Action: N/A
Any idea on what to check next?
Thanks for all you do for me and the CMS community. It means alot.

In looking at the event logs, I saw this
MCMS Site Deployment - Error occured. System.Data.SqlClient.SqlError:
Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the
operation or the server is not responding.
