Will .NET Framework v2.0.5.0727 Hose my MS CMS?

| I have a test system running Windows 2003 Standard Edition SP1 Build 3790.
It's aso running MSCMS 2002. I would like to install the IE 7 Readiness Tool
Kit on the same server but that requires .NET Framework v2.0.5.0727. In the
past an application was installed on this server that required .NET 2.0 and
it hosed CMS pretty badly. so we had to back down to .NET 1.1 to keep CMS
happy. Can someone advise if I can run both the IE 7 Readiness Tool Kit and
the CMS on the same server and if so how do I keep them from stomping on each
other?
Thanks.

| Hi Ninerfan,
you need to ensure that MCMS 2002 SP2 is installed.
Then you can use .NET 2.0
Cheers,
Stefan

| Hallo Ninerfan,
I recomend you to read Stefan's and others blogs and search for post
sp2 hotfixes. There is a few well-known errors which are solving.
