CMS 2002: Channel as a default page
|
|
|
| Hi
I'd like to setup the default page of a channel to another channel
sitting within the first one.
So I have a channel called Channel1 that does not contain any posting
but it contains a channel called Channel2.
Channel2 contains a posting called Coverpage. It is the default page of
Channel2.
How can I do to set the Channel1 default page to Channel2 (and so the
posting CoverPage)?
Thanks a lot
Luc

| Hi Luc,
this is not possible.
What you could do is to assign a channel rendering script in Channel1 and do
a response.redirect to the posting in Channel 2.
Cheers,
Stefan

| Thanks Stephan
I don't really understand why this is not possible anymore (it used to
be in CMS 2001) but I did the redirection page so it works.
