Microsoft Content Management Server - Attaching NBK File Error

Attaching NBK File Error

For some reason this error only occurs with files of type .nbk. When these
are attached to a page, when the link is clicked a 404 Page Cannot Be Found
error is returned.

The link seems to going to the correct place i.e.
..../NR/rdonlyres/33512382-F371-4F88-B64F-F40C67DAFA45/182/Example.nbk

Any other type of file attachment seems to function OK. Is this file
extension reserved or do i need to add a custom MIME type to IIS?

Any ideas or suggestions gratefully received.
