Server node not found error
|
|
| news.microsoft.com 2006-03-03, 6:18 pm |
| Hi everybody
We deployed a CMS 2002 software in 2 environments.
One of these environment is for editor to produce content for the web site
(writing environment).
The other one is for everybody to access the web site (reading environment).
Both environment are accessing the same CMS database, but when we access the
reading one, we have the following error message:
"Server node not found error. Contact the site administrator"
This error occurs only in the main page. The rest of the site is OK.
But the same main page works fine in writing environment...
Any clue about that??
Thnaks in advance

| Hi everybody
I've found the problem... In fact, I haven't found the real error, but
what we did was to export all CMS content again.
The mistery is that both CMS (reading and writing) are pointed to the
same database, but this error was occuring only in reading server.
Strange.....
Thanks everybody

| Hi Rodolfo,
did you only export or did you import again?
If you imported then most likely hte import corrected the DB inconsistancy.
Cheers,
Stefan
