Author MCMS treeview dialogs messed up with host header mapping applied?

I have noticed that when creating a new posting on my site with host
header mapping applied that when choosing the template gallery to pick
a template from and choosing the "tree" view that the tree view is not
displaying in a tree but all in a row as if the treeview functionality
is broken.

I reuse the MCMS channel picker in one of my own placeholder controls
to allow a user to configure the control. This too doesn't work
properly.

If I go back to not having host header mapping then they start to work
just fine again?

Does anyone know what the problem might be? I am running MCMS SP2....

Ahaaa! It was a missing webclient_ctrl folder in my new site that was
the problem and not host header mapping
