Author Failed to set Entry Point to Read Only, SCA error

When attempting to configure (to read/write) a new IIS site using the
SCA I reveive the following error:

Unexpected Error! Failed to set Entry Point to Read Only

800700b7: Cannot create a file when that file already exists.

This is on a win 2003 server, IIS 6, cms sp1a

I have yet to setup any virtual directories in the site, and I have
checked the metabase using the Metabase Expolorer, everything seems
fine.

I appear to be having the same error as this:
http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=...Google%2BSearch

I was wondering if anyone figured a way around this other than a
server rebuild?

I have setup a few other sites earlier to this, it only happened
recently

thanks, Matt

Hi Stefan,

I had taken a look at the faq before when researching the problem. I
used the metabase explorer to view the site to see if any virtual
directories existed that might be causing the problem but I found
nothing.

Hi Matthew,

then you will have to open a support case as this is the only reason I know
when this problem can arise.

Cheers,
Stefan.
