We have been using CMS for our corporate Intranet and Livelink from Opentext
to store documents. We are replacing Livelink with SPS/WSS and are trying to
figure out how to best integrate these new systems with CMS. One specific
issue that has come up is how to name/brand the new SPS environment, e.g.
should it have the same name as the existing company intranet or something
unique. Does anyone have any suggestions on this topic or know of any
sources of recommendations that we could review

TIA

Dean

Hi Dean,

to integrate MCMS and SPS you could use Connector for SharePoint
Technogogies:
http://www.microsoft.com/cmserver/d...epointconnector

Information on how to setup the system can be found here:
http://www.microsoft.com/office/sha...2connector.mspx

Stefan

To improve on the SharePoint Search UI, and give easier access to features
such as sorting,
wildcard, boolean and UI customisation, you may also want to consider
Ontolica for Sharepoint.
