HI

Quick question on SDO imports. I'm having a problem with replacing some
templates in site manager.

I've added a couple of new custom properties to some existing templates
in our test environment. I now wish to replace the templates on live.

For some reason when I import the SDO the import report states the
templates are the same. When I check the custom properties they have
not been added to the templates on live. (I've tried it a few times
same results)

This is a process I have done hundreds of times and have not had this
issue.

We are running mcms 2002 sp1a on framework 1.1 sp1

Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.

Hi Mikey,

this can happen if the templates are checked out on the destination machine.
You need to ensure that the templates are checked in - otherwise the import
process cannot replace them.

Cheers,
Stefan
