Hi,

I have a CMS site enabled for anonymous. But at the same time I would like
to have the same site for administration also. For this scenario I have a
specific page restricted from anonymous, so that forcing the page for
authentication, and on successfull authentication will take to that page. So
now the website is an authenticated website. Now I can able to see the Switch
to edit mode link in that restricted page. But if I navigate to the other
pages this link is not available. The same link is available with my
development server in all the pages, but when i access the same site of the
development server from the clinet pc sometimes i can able to see the switch
to edit mode link and some times not.

My question is whether this scenario chosen is possible or not.

Could anyone please adivce me or tell me the work arround solution for this
scenario.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Durai,

this is as expected.
Windows authentication cannot be used on a guest enabled site.
See here for an explanation:

Cheers,
Stefan
