| I have couple questions regarding this control:
1. How to make it required ona page so that user has to attach a file.
2. What is a recommended way to attach files : local vs resource gallery. i
know the advantage of using Resource gallery items is that youupdate it once
and all links to it are updated. Any downside or upside to using local
attachments?
Thanks,

| Hi Anabhra,
1) we have covered this question in the validation chapter of the following
book:
http://tinyurl.com/8ugwj
Here we show how to implement validation controls for MCMS placeholder
controls.
2) you should always use resource galleries if possible. This is the only
way to allow reuse of resources and a single point of change in case the
image needs to be replaced.
Cheers,
Stefan
