| I am getting some bizarre behaviour on one staff members PC. This staff
member is and editor. when using the authoring console she has to click every
link twice to get it to work. Eg to create new page she has to click create
new page twice.
It is causing much confusion for her when editing the site. Hers is the only
PC that I have come across with this issue. Windows 2000, Office 2002 are
part of our standard operating environment. the only non standard software
she uses is Dragon NaturallySpeaking a Voice recognition software. We have
tried this on other PC's without any problem...
Just wondering if there is some kind of Browser setting I am missing.
Anyone come across a similar problem?

| Hi Jason,
that does not sound like a browser setting.
Please check if the URL in the browser changes after the first click or not.
Cheers,
Stefan.

| Hi Jason,
Maybe you need to run a netmon trace to see if the request is actually going
to the MCMS server from the client machine.
You should also try unstalling IE & reinstalling & repatching.
Regards

| IE throws the error "The callee (server [not server application]) is not
available and disappeared; all connections are invalid. The call did not
execute." in the
f unction WBC_openWindowOnFocus.
It was working OK and started to throw this error last time I worked on the
project.

| Hi Mike,
you mean this is a javascript error?
Never heard.
I would suggest to post this question to an IE related newsgroup to get
possible reasons for this issue.
Cheers,
Stefan

| Yes, this is a Javascript error.
As suggested, I will post on an IE group.
On a related issue, can you use IE7 with MCMS2002 and .Net 2?
