html placeholder taking blank space as a new line character

| hi stefan,
html placeholder is takin blank space as a new line character.
width of placeholder is big enough: 400px
even if i add 2 alphabets and space between them it goes to new line in
presentation/preview mode.
how to change it..

| Hi Saurabh,
sounds as if you either added some style sheets or a table arround it which
forces this or as if the content is bigger than the width.
Please check the html source code. You will see that there is no extra
newline char "<br>" or "<p>".
So it depends on your browser and not on MCMS.
