| Is there a constraint on adding ad groups to CMS user roles.
I can add a ad group that resides in the top group
eg: domain\group\ad group 1
but can not add
domain\group\group\ad group 1
Is there any limitation? i know the group must be of the Universal
type...any other attribute?
thanks,

| Hi Anabhra,
it is recommended to add AD groups rather than individual users.
If you are able to add some groups but not others, then most likely the MCMS
system acccount does not have access rights in the AD on the affected group.
Cheers,
Stefan

| I want to correct myself a bit here:
the structure I am running issues with is
ad\OU\groups\ad group One
I am not sure if OU is supported by MCMS.

| Hi Anabhra,
sure it is.
As outlined earlier: this is most likely a permission problem.
Cheers,
Stefan

| Thanks for the response Stefan.
I figured it out. I have to add the samAccountname of the group rather than
the group name.
