I am using VS.NET 2005 and ASP.NET 2.0.
When I click my Switch To Edit link I am getting the following error.

Validation of viewstate MAC failed. If this application is hosted by a Web
Farm or cluster, ensure that <machineKey> configuration specifies the same
validationKey and validation algorithm. AutoGenerate cannot be used in a
cluster

Can anyone please advise as to what to do?

Hello Tom,

You need to sync the machineKey on each web server within the machine.config
file.
