| Hi
I have completed an installation on VS 2005 CMS SP2 using MCMS faq_com -
Rational Guide to installing MCMS 2002 Service Pack 2.htm and Content
Management Server 2002 Service Pack 2 installation information.htm. Now when
I want to create a new CMS project I do not have any MCMS templates in the
new website My Templates section. Can anyone please help?

| Hi,
I have managed to create a CMS enabled website in VS 2005 using the
templates. My problem now is I cannot create template in VS as the MCMS
Template Explorer says there are "No CMS - Enabled Projects are open". Any
ideas?

| Hi Jim,
usually this method should only occur if the project you are in is not a CMS
enabled MCMS template project.
Please double check. If this happens for a MCMS enabled project you should
open a support case.
Cheers,
Stefan

| Hi all,
I am having the same problem in VS 2005 environment.
I have the template explorer working before with my website. I am not sure
what happened in the last few days. I am not sure if this occurs after I shut
down computer or not. I am getting the same error. Please advise appropriate
steps in resolving this issue. I currently cannot add a new template because
of that error. Another thing to note is when I close the template explorer
window, the selection is also not visible under the View > Other Windows >
menu.
Regards,
Michael

| Hi all,
I have got it back now.
The solution to Template Explorer missing in VS 2005 development environment:
Open website from local IIS instead of file system.
The solution to "No cms-enabled projects are open":
First, I try open from local IIS as mentioned in previous step. This was not
successful.
Then, since it was working before, I open website from VS start page on the
Recent Projects list.
Finally, it works. I then try opening from local IIS again using another
instance of VS 2005, and it shows up now miraculously.
