Migrating CMS Services Part 2
|

| I currently have a MCMS 2002 SP2 server setup for production. This server
is still using ASP1.1/VS2003 and a SQL2000 database.
We are migrating to new hardware. I have seutp a new server with MCMS2002
SP1a, then upgraded to SP2. I also setup a separate SQL 2005 server.
When installing CMS, I created a new CMS database on my SQL2005 server.
I cannot manage roles in my Site Manager. I tried importing in an SDO from
my existing server, but that didn't work eiter.
Error message details:
Error: 0
Description Automation Error The object invoked has disconnected from its
clients.
Severity: 5
Source: AdmnTool
Debug info: N/A
Extra info: N/A
Client Source: OEFUsers::HandlePropDlg
Recommended Action: N/A
Any thoughts, or do I need to open a support case?

| I was crawling over so many resources yesterday. I was looking at that
page, but somehow I missed the entry on DEP.
Thanks again.

| I'm feeing much better about my site now. I was able to successfully
migrate my VS2005 work onto my new server.
Master pages are great. I've got the majority of my custom code on the
master page, and it even features a placeholder that switches the console
based on which template is being used on the current page. Now to just
finish tweaking my navigation to use the .NET 2 provider model once the new
book come sout next month.
