Hi,

We are ready to roll out the MCMS Authoring Console but the only problem we
are facing is when we try to Preview the page it asks us for the username
and login. Even though we logged before sending it to MCMS, we log in again
to preview the page but it doesn't accept the login and hence the Preview
Page is never be seen.

Does anyone know the solution for this?

Thanks,
Kulwinder

Hi Kulwinder,

sounds like a potential misconfiguration of your box.
Did you lock down your system?

Cheers,
Stefan

Yes the system is lock down. Each Department can see only their postings,
channels, resources, templates. But the web editor can only approve it
before making it live.

How have you set your security? Are you using forms or windows
authentication?

Hi Kulwinder,

no I meant if you applied some additional lock down on the file system or on
the registry?
It sounds as if the permissions have been tightend to a level where MCMS
cannot work properly.
Please verify all permissions based on the following document:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...&displaylang=en

Cheers,
Stefan
