Pardon the intrusion. I'm evaluating the Ektron400CMS and, as I'm
getting my feet wet in is my first CMS eval, I have a lot of questions.
I googled around a bit and found a post-less Ektron group, and this
group had the most references to Ektron. Anybody have any leads towards
a group that deals exclusively with the Ektron CMS product?

Their tech support aparently has a number of requests in the que, and
their KB doesn't have much to answer my request.

I've created a dev intranet site and I'm about to create a second dev
external site. Mainly, I'm trying to establish whether to run multiple
SQL DBs or a single one. Multiple would suggest better performance and
separation of content. A single DB would suggest that I'd be able to
reuse the same content over multiple sites (Press Releases, for
example.) Right now I have the two sites set to access the same db,
but, eg, the default.aspx page in my new site is the same as the
default.aspx I created and modified for the other. As the default.aspx
pages won't share the same layout/content, it's going to be an issue.
And changing every page to carry some identifier (eg:
intranetdefault.aspx and externaldefault.aspx?) seems ludicrous.

Thanks.

Hi Scott,

this newsgroup only covers Microsoft Content Management Server.
So if you would like to look for a CMS product where you will get answers in
the newsgroup...
;-)

Cheers,
Stefan
