hi everybody

i wanna know if i need to install vs.net 2003 on the production server
because we gonna deploy the site we created using mcms 2002 on it.

because honestly i find it inconvinint to install such thing on a
production server only to deploy the site when im not gonna use it

so please advice

No, you do not need to and definitely should never install VS.Net in
production. All you need is the MCMS prerequisites such as IE Web Controls,
J# Redistributable and the appropriate .NET framework version (ie. 1.1 or
2.0).
