Author CMS connection lost

Hi,
we use cms 2002 sp1a in our site
we have a web farm and the ref database is installed on a cluster of two
server.
we are experiencing this warning message regularly on each web server:
Connection to 018D5008 <[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][DBNETLIB]
General network error. ...>{Status=08S01 CodeNatif=11}

we tried to check the network trafic (ping) between these servers and the
database cluster : we have had no time out.

Beside we have a different Commerce server instance on this database cluster,
and no such warning for this product.

Can someone explains me what to do to fix this warning?

Thanks!

Hi,

this indicates a communication problem between MCMS server and MCMS database
on ODBC layer
The SQL ODBC driver is reporting this as you can see - not MCMS. MCMS just
writes out the error message it received from the ODBC layer.
I would suggest to open a support case for this.

Cheers,
Stefan
