Hi,

I have this strange mscms toolbar problem on one of the clients computers.
The toolbar apears 4 times (see image link below).

Is this IE related problem?

Thanks for help.

Hi Oleg,

this can happen if there is some custom code in your template that hides
some html placeholder controls.
This is not allowed.
As a workaround I have written the following placeholder control which is
hideable:
http://www.gotdotnet.com/Community/...fe-bacb80deaec2

(You might have to click on this URL twice as GotDotNet sometimes redirects
to the homepage on first request)

Cheers,
Stefan

Hi Stefan,

Thanks for a quick response.

Actually I do hide placeholders based on posting's custom properties.
But how come this become an issue for one user only?

Thanks,
Oleg

Hi,

the solution is not to hide the control on the client side or using the
visible property on the server side.

Cheers,
Stefan

Yes I've seen this answer before.

However...We are 21 different but equal organisations sharing a CMS solution
using the same templates. All the templates are developed by a consulting
company. The thing is that this happends on one computer only. It doesn't
matter who logs on and use that computer. If she who has that computer
normally logs on to another computer everythong works fine...It all started
beeing this way last tuesday afternoon. It must be something on this very
computer making it behave differently... That's what I'm looking for...

Hi Loobo,

then you should open a support case for this to get this analyzed.

Cheers,
Stefan
