| I know how to add a new channel using the API and a Windows C# Form. works
great witha web service that does the creating. But is it possible to also
add existing users/groups from Active Directory to my new channel using the
API?

| Hi Tom,
no this is not possible.
This can only be done using Site Manager.

I heradx rumors that the next version of CMS is ntengrated with Shrepoint.
Not sure if it is or not. Do you know if there is a next version of CMS
coming out and will the API be updated to provide this needed functionality?

next version of MCMS and next version of SPS are migrated into a new product
named MOSS 2007.
This version will have a complete API - means anything you can do in a
management tool can also be done with API.
