Moderator approval not working

| Hi would appreciate some help on this one...our moderater approval
isn't working.i've checked permissions on channels and they are all
correct..The editor approval is working correctly..
A posting moves through the workflow correctly..eg authors
submit,editors approve until it hits waiting for Moderator approval and
then I can't get it to move to published state.
Can anyone point me in the right direction as to where to start
digging..

could you please explain in more details. What do you mean with "I can't get
it to move to published state".
Does the approve button show up when waiting for moderator approval?
If yes: what happens when you click on it?
In addition: do you have a custom workflow event (e.g. CmsPosting_Approving
or CmsPosting_Changing) implemented?
If yes, please disable this event and check if the problem is gone then.

| Hi Stefan..the approval button does appear when waiting for moderator
state..when you click it nothing happens except a page refresh..it
remains in waiting for moderator approval state..i have commented out
thr Approving and changing events and this has had no effect
whatsoever...

It actually sounds as if something modifies the object after you approved
it. This would cause the item to go back to waiting for approval.

I removed all workflow events and that fixed it...i guess i'll have to
go through each one individually to see which is the culprit..thanks
